Westway Housing, London, UK Threshold Housing Support has developed the Westway Housing Project in London. This project will consist of five buildings, including 130 homes with a total floor area of 8,500 m2. Heating and cooling will be provided by means of an Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage (ATES) system.
Heat and cold are stored in the underlying Chalk aquifer. The groundwater system consists of one cold and one warm well, which are connected by transport piping. Exchange of energy takes place through a plate heat exchanger, which is located in the main plant room. From here the water is transported to the five apartment blocks via a distribution loop. On the following website, you may find more information about our partners and the project |
